The exhibition features a selection of works by graduates of the bachelor’s and master’s programs in Photography, Video, and Computer Image Processing, as well as Photography and Video Art, from the Faculty of Arts and Visual Design (FAVD) at UNAGE Iași, class of 2026, and includes projects that utilize both still and moving images in various artistic formats, such as photography, experimental video, and documentary film.

Graduation Highlights 2026 brings together a generation of artists for whom the image no longer functions as a mere representation, but as a space for exploration and the negotiation of meaning. The exhibited projects chart complementary paths: some explore memory, emotion, and the personal imagination, transforming intimate experiences into visual structures that interrogate the subject’s identity and fragility; others investigate shared space, critically observing ecological transformations, digital infrastructures, and the persistence of social and historical vulnerabilities. Beyond the diversity of media and artistic strategies, the works reveal a shared concern for the image as a form of knowledge, capable of making visible the relationships between individual experience and the cultural and technological conditions of the present. The exhibition thus presents not a unified image of a graduating class, but a landscape of artistic practices in dialogue with one another, in which photography and the moving image become tools for critical reflection on the world and on our own ways of inhabiting it.
